Chase recently launched an increased welcome offer on the Sapphire Preferred card. You can currently earn 80,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months of having the card.
Before this change, the sign-up bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred was 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points, with the same minimum spending requirement. The annual fee of $95 is not waived on this offer, as it has been on some previous Sapphire Preferred offers, but increasing the welcome offer by a full 20,000 points is a significant jump, and worth considering.

At least, that’s the thought from a growing number of companies that sell prepaid jet cards. However, there’s an asterisk with this promotion.
So far, only a handful of the more than 60 companies that sell jet cards are promoting the buy now, fly tax-free element, although

Brand Card was created with a vision that encompasses the digital age in every way possible. We decided to adapt a networking medium that was safe, contactless and at the same time efficient and environmentally friendly.
“Business cards for the digital age” quotes Arhaan Shaikh, Director of Brand Card. Who also adds that “This is the future of how people are going to share their business profiles online through WhatsApp, Zoom, LinkedIn, Mail, and many other such social networking sites.”

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 12, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — A lot more Americans say they’re likely to apply for a store credit card this holiday season than did in either of the previous two years, according to a new report from CompareCards by LendingTree.
That’s despite the fact that more than half (56%) of people who say they’ve had a store credit card say they’ve regretted getting one.
Big jump in interest in store cards: 44% of Americans say they’re at least somewhat likely to apply for a store card during the holiday shopping season. That’s up from 32% in 2019 and 24% in 2018.
Store card APRs fall: The average APR for a new store credit card is 24.24%, down from 25.41% in 2019, thanks largely to Federal Reserve interest rate cuts.

Greeting cards have a unique ability to connect people
Early this year, Lynda Junge watched her Downers Grove, Ill., wedding invitation business grind to a halt as the coronavirus pandemic caused couples to postpone their nuptials.
On a whim, she designed a handful of Mother’s Day cards for her business, Greenstar Paperie, riffing on social-distancing and other related themes. She posted the cards to the online marketplace Etsy and started hearing cash register-like notifications on her smartphone.
“They went off like crazy,” she said.
Among her bestsellers are cards that say, “Hi friend, this is your snail mail sanity check. You good?” and “Waving from a safe distance. It’s just not the same over Zoom.”
Junge, 41, is expecting an even bigger boom heading into the holiday season as people socially distanced from friends and family look to connect during the emotional roller coaster that is 2020.

The unthinkable happened Sunday when Alex Smith played in an NFL game again.
Smith suffered a gruesome leg injury nearly two years ago that required 17 surgeries to rectify. When the Washington Football Team’s Kyle Allen, who started instead of Dwayne Haskins Jr., endured a head-on collision with Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, Smith entered the contest and didn’t leave.
In the 30-10 loss, the 36-year-old signal-caller completed nine of 17 passes for 37 yards. But Smith’s actual performance didn’t matter to many, including his counterpart on the other sideline Sunday.
“That is really one of the most amazing things, I think—not only that we’ve ever seen, but one of the most amazing things in football history, is him getting back from that injury and coming back,” Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff told reporters.
How should Smith’s return to professional football be
