Numbers do not lie. As the first of its kind, The Detroit Entrepreneur was a mere idea early this year. This month, the media outlet proudly stands as the #1 small business online magazine in Detroit, and one of the top business magazines in Michigan. Despite these rankings, the incredible brand is the only one of its kind.
Denisa Axhami, founder and president, shares her gratitude. “The idea originated from past experiences I had as a young business owner,” the visionary explains. “The lack of exposure and a network hindered my growth, which lead me to lose faith in my first business.”
The Detroit Entrepreneur highlights entrepreneurs in all avenues of business. From small businesses to talents, the media outlet has featured 60+ brands, businesses, talents, and entrepreneurs thus far. The site received over 1,000 visits a week at its worst week.
In addition to its online website, their Instagram page serves as a more personal connection to the audience. Posts provide networking resources, success tips, and serves as a powerhouse of small businesses and entrepreneurs.
“I created our popular #Let’sNetwork posts, which allow people to connect with one another in the comments,” Denisa shared. “My vision was to create a platform that I wish existed when I first started off.”
During the first months of its launch, a vice president was appointed to lead The Detroit Entrepreneur to greater victory. Travis M. Foster, author of the best-selling Adult Keepsake Volume 1, shared a similar vision. His contribution jump started the brand beyond limits.
2021 plans include a physical copy of the magazine. Michigan and nationwide readers are looking forward to The Detroit Entrepreneur’s growth.
